The RF400R is a lightweight racing bike made by Suzuki. It is sold in many countries and is occasionally found under different names, such as RF400S, which is the model name in Great Britain. Many imports find their way into the United States. Smaller insurance companies will not insure imports, though most big name companies such as Bennets, will. Though it has relatively small CC, it has a reasonable top speed of about 140MPH and 59 HP, which is about the same range as a Honda CBR600 of 1993.
Bikes imported into the United States will generally have metric instrumentation. Imports can be verified by phoning the DVLA or equivalent agency.
